Sunday Stills

The challenge this week water towers and/or grain silos. I didn't get a chance to head to a nearby town to get a photo of a classic water tower that I wanted, but here are a few photos of some silos here at the university farms (we'll see if Ed stopped by these last week when he was in the neighborhood).

University silos...my old stomping grounds as well. As a child I played all over those barns. :)

Nice photos, forget that Illinois is not defiantly not short on silo or grain bins for that matter!!

The universities I went to were city ones, they didn't have silos. This challenge has made me curious how silos work. I keep think how you put the silage inside the tall thing. Do you climb up?

Thanks for visiting my site.

We are lacking in silos here in Florida!
