I saw these two little buggers while out surveying oak trees this week. Cute, aren't they?

Busy, Busy

Everyone's busy around here.....Ron's started root digs (will hopefully get to a post about that this week, but no promises) and I'm on the road doing surveys.

Lucky for me, I get to see things like this to make my day a little brighter.

Interesting

Can someone explain this to me? While out doing surveys this week, I came across this:
Oh, don't you know I got closer to see what this was all about. And after closer inspection, I don' t get it.
Interesting indeed.

Wildlife Wednesday

Traveling as much as I do during the week, I get to see a lot of the state. Frequent stops include parks and that means lots of beautiful scenery. I've also been able to catch some photos of creatures of all sizes the past couple of weeks.

I thought I'd start off my "Wildlife Wednesday" with this family I came across last week. The pictures aren't the best, but those little guys sure can move fast! And momma was thrilled about me stopping to get pictures of her growing brood. Aren't they cute though?
