While at the Relay for Life 2 weekends ago, we also got to hang out with Nancy, Sondra's mom. Also known as mom #2 - she earned that nickname almost 12 years ago when Sondra and I started college together (wow...that makes us old, doesn't it).
Anyway, Mom #2 made Kaylee a beautiful embroidered quilt that is now hanging in her room. Thanks Nancy!

Little miss found her tongue quite some time ago and the novelty still hasn't worn off. She's constantly tasting everything the she can literally get her hands on and to her mouth. I try not to think about the germs...and just smile at all of these new things she's learning. It's so much fun to watch her try new things and gradually get better at them.
One thing she's definitely mastering - sleeping through the night. She'd been fairly consistent right at 3 months, maybe waking up at 5 am (sometimes 4 am) for a bottle and then back to sleep until I woke her up for the day at 6:30. She's now sleeping through until 6:30 which is great! We're so lucky to have such a good little girl!

Last Friday we headed to Kokomo, Indiana to see the Stewarts and take part in the Relay for Life event. Friday night after the storms cleared, we walked the track while the luminaries were lit. It was such a moving event. Saturday was a new day - a sunny day and while were only there a short while before heading back to Illinois, we have to say we felt privileged to take part in such a wonderful event.

We found out early this week that Sondra's Sisters raised over $3,000 - way to go ladies!

I was finally able to pull some photos off of the camera tonight..so hopefully we can do a little blog catch up before the storms roll through (again).
