This little lady has been grabbing her feet for quite some time. But late last week I think she finally achieved the goal she had been working towards...

A couple of weekends ago, Dawn and Doug came back to Illinois for the weekend. We hung out at the Alderks' house along with the Nutterson's.We had a great time with friends and their cute kiddos!

Lack of posting around these parts usually means we've been busy. We've been busy is a little bit of an understatement. Friday was Daddy's birthday. We spent most of the day at the state fair.

Kaylee's first trip to the fair probably won't be one she'll remember, but we definitely will! It was HOT! Luckily Daddy was judging 4-H projects in an air conditioned building so we could come and go as we wanted to cool off.

The rest of the weekend included a trip north to family, a wedding, back to Champaign on Sunday and birthday dinner with Ron's family Sunday night. Last night we met some former coworkers in Bloomington for supper...tonight I'll try to get some photos posted of our adventures -- including some fun with friends from two weekends ago.

5 Months

Monday, August 9, 2010

Another month...and now its been five. Big milestones this last month - eating her veggies and rolling over. In fact, she's always moving around. I'm going to have to figure out how to get her to sit still for her monthly photo

Temporary Pony

Thursday, August 5, 2010

Kaylee's a big fan of the jumperoo. She's been happily trying it out for the past week and a half.

There's no doubt she loves this temporary pony...and it will have to do until she's a little bigger :)

Friday night Kaylee tried her first beans. Rice and oatmeal had been okay, but she wasn't digging plain cereal. And who can blame her, flavor please!!
Green beans are definitely a hit....more please, mom!
